what happened kristoff? tsf is either out of business or letting gerlach run everything it looks like now so anything good for nascar seems darn remote. hopefully isi finds better partners in the future they had the greatest chance to put gmotor to stock cars and surpassed even IR in physics and feel. had the support of nascar teams and engineers then drop it all to chase dreams with other things like powder coat and some investment. lets spread the word and see if another company takes it more seriously and future companies see gorilla customs and tsf for what their worth.
I stopped work on the mod for lack of participation from my mod crew and my league. They don't even race anymore. And really there wasn't very much interest in stock cars here, not as much as the other cars. So what's the point? There's also a few places in the process of rF2 mods that I can't do alone. I'm thinking I'm going to upload what I have and offer it up to the public to move forward with and do with as they will.
I think if you finished this you'd find a lot of interest. The prob is, there are just so few modders working on rF2 right now. I hope you change your mind, I was looking forward to at least one of these cars getting in game
I'm interested that's foresure. I love stock car racing but don't have any abilities to help you out modding.
No he doesn't... No one in my league races anymore. No help on the mod so lost interest in doing it for myself by myself. I'm going to rar it up and post a link so someone else might take it up.
Ok I'm uploading it now and it's big. like 320 megs. It's all my models, reference files, my moddev folder. You have my permission to use my models and the textures that are on it... all others that are in there will be for reference or to show how things are put together and will need to be replaced if you want full authorship. You don't have my permission to sell my models or the mod... please credit me if you move forward, unless what you make sucks... Then forget I ever existed. Will post link soon. remeber it's nothing you can really race... you can drive on a few tracks but not in any way complete.
Thanks for the work you have done. I remember being excited when you first posted what you were doing. Thanks for offering up the RAR. I wish I had more time and capabilities to help out, but busy at school and have a graduating senior. Crazy days are upon my family!
