The game was going through the "installing content" every time I launched the game, so I decided to go ahead and delete it. I wanted to get rid of everything, including the mods. I uninstalled the game on Steam, I deleted the folder in the " Steam"- "SteamApps"- "Common" folder. I even deleted the folder in "My documents" that had all of my settings. I reinstalled the game last night, and when I tried it today, it loaded all of the same content again. Does this mean the content is stored on Steam where I can't get to it? I would like to get rid of everything and just start with a clean install. Thank you.
Thanks for the reply. That's the first thing I did when I uninstalled the game the first time. I still got all of the content when I reinstalled it again.
Oh, duh. You are getting all the official content, you might be able to go into the workshop and unsubscribe from everything.
