    Hi All

Can the hud from devmode be used in regular mode?

Yes, pack it into a HUD rfcmp and install it.

gave it a crack, not a hell of a lot of info on mas2 usage around the traps, so probably I am doing something wrong,
I managed to pack it according to MAS2, and install it.

i just selected the ready made HUD "ARCADESTYLE.mas" from the devmod/hud folder.

(presumably since its already built and works in devmode thats all i need to do?)

I think you'll likely need to include the .ini and .tga file (for the icon) for it to work. The .ini references the .MAS file.

If you look in that 'ready made' MAS file you'll see it's just images; the .ini is what the game actually uses to know what to do.

I'm not sure exactly how you should package them - you could download a workshop HUD package and check what they do for reference - but you could try creating a new MAS file with the .ini, .tga, and .MAS file in it, then package that new MAS the same way you've done.
