Howston G4 and G6 in DX11 and DX9

I installed the DX11 beta and re-subscribed to the Howston G4 and G6 vehicles as directed. I encountered stuttering (another issue for another time) with the DX11 install. The G4 and G6 worked fine in the DX11 install, except for the stuttering issue.

I returned to the DX9 install and cannot get the Howston G4 and G6 cars back. I tried unsubscribing and re-subscribing, quitting Steam and rF2 after each unsubscribe. When I re-subscribe, Steam shows a very quick download, much too quick for the actual content. I suspect it's downloading a "pointer" file, but not the content. The Launcher doesn't show the G4 or G6.

Suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I didn't try the first one but for the second one i browse the 7 pages and can't find any g4/g6...

 

does anyone notice the howston lights aren't like the dx11 (shiny) rear brake lights. they still seem like old lights. bit dull.

My game has just been updated by Steam (2GB) and the G4/G6 are back !

 

I think the only Howston updated was a 1968 variant of the car. Weren't the originals 66ish?

sorry im not sure what you mean its just the two cars g4 and g6 that were updated?

 

I was thinking the car updated for dx11 was a new car completely, i.e 1968 model, vs(what I thought) was the original based on 1966. I have been remiss in not double checking that.
