    Hi,

found a problem modding a track.

In Dev Mode the AI could not take the formation lap, because they are out of fuel.
A top left yellow fuel icon indicates a AI fuel problem.
All AI Cars do not move at standing start because of empty tank.

Does anybody have an idea, which parameter has to be set to set this correctly.

    Any help would be great.

Search for the word 'fuel' in your track's .aiw file. Then search this forum for fuel, fuelUsage, whatever... Lot's of formulas, spreadsheets, etc.. for that here.

Until then, put a big number in the fuelusage parameter in the aiw file (not sure exactly what it is called atm).

edit: If you are going to edit .aiw files, you need something that does not put a bunch of formatting characters in...

There is a Swiss company that probably still offers a free version of their editor: http://www.notetab.com/

Have you setup fuel usage in AIW editor?

This could happen even when your fuel setting is set up correctly. I have no idea what causes it and what fixes it, but I was able to fix that problem by accident. But it does have something to do with AIW file for sure.

Check the starting fuel in the HDV file. The AI start with this fuel settings.

There was a way for rf1 to come close to a good value, for sure it works for rf2 too.

    Search in your AIW for

take the lap length and multiply it with 14 and enter it to

This is only an estimate of the fuel usage and for sure needs to be refined, but this should prevent the AIs running out of fuel that early.
I'm guessing your FuelUse is set to 0.
