How to ban someone after they have left the server? Last night on our server we had a guy join who didn't like the way our server was setup so he decided to throw his toys out of his pram and insult everyone on the server. I was out on track trying to qualify and didn't have time to ban him before left the server. Is there a way I can add this idiot to the bans list without him actually joining again?
All you need is a password. We have one at 'Lefora_F2' and you have to be good to join there. Having said that, we do go out 'talent Spotting'.
If you have banned anyone before then the data is written to the bans.txt file in ...rFactor2\UserData folder, you may be able to edit the txt file with the pertinent information. Cheers Goanna
We haven't got anyone on our bans list so I cant just add him to the list...so I need to know how it's written. No password was to try to attract new people to our server. Once we start league racing again the password will be back up
I just banned myself and checked the bans list...It logs my IP address - another number (im guessing a player ID) - player name Could someone from ISI confirm what the number after the IP is please
