How the heck do you add a pit crew to rF2, Cuz i dont just want a red box outlining the pit box. i know some mods have pit crews, but to add a generic pit crew for the ones that dont would be great
Check this https://forum.studio-397.com/index....ll-vehicle-modders-pitcrew-in-rfactor2.48545/ and https://forum.studio-397.com/index....-pitcrew-in-rfactor2.48545/page-3#post-807700 After following the instructions and installing, I just sat in garage and selected pit stop only to see red box. It was not until I left pit selected pit stop and went around the track and straight back into pit that it's working.
Is there a specific Mod that you want to add a pit crew to? How many cars in the mod? Because each car has to be "unpacked" and have the pit crew added then "repacked". Unless you want to make that mod a new release (with permission from the original owner) then you'll only be able to play offline because you will get miss-match errors for online play, because your mod will be different to what the server has. Although the certain mod is the FVR v8 supercars 2014-16 mod, what i was thinking is a generic, white suited pitcrew like rF1(or the awesome devmode pitcrew which nibiru is talking about) for the mods that dont have a personalized pit crew for each team.
Well for the FVR's you'd have to talk with FlashQld and the guys over at FVRforums, I believe they are in the middle of an update, so maybe catch up with them to see what's involved. SS
Sorry I've looked around and asked but know one I know still has it I think there are still a few people on here that are still in contact with Redapg so maybe they can help
would you be able to put him in contact with me? by the way, im running the steam version, would that have anything to do with it?
Hello Nathan, to contact redapg (Chris) directly, you can use the mail-adress from his Online Tools Site, that is chris_rf2onl((at))gmx.de.
To Nathan (and others also). I talked to Chris (redapg) and he told me that he is busy with "real" Life at the moment. He was not online the last weeks and will also be offline the next weeks/~months. Because of that and because he don't uses Steam, i tried it out by myself now. I used the Way that he described before and it works for me in Single Player. Here is what he wrote what has to be done: As first step, you have to backup your ..\Core\Scripts folder of the rFactor2 Installation. I would suggest to simply create a ZIP file, and leave it in the Core folder. Delete the Folder "Scripts" from the Core Folder. (I added this Line, because he did forget it) Then install his Devmode Pitcrew Component from reply #10. In the Launcher it is shown as "Scripts", Type: Pit Crew. After Installation start the game. You get the message that the Scripts component 1.0 d is missing. Now restore the backupped Scripts folder in the Core Folder Start the Game and try if it works. To be sure if it works, leave the Pits, drive 1 Lap and enter the Pits again.
@Nathan outline exactly what you did, from start to finish, and then people can help work out what you did wrong.
i did everything that were in the instructions before and i only get them for when sessions finish as im coming into the pits and 10 second penalties.
