    Could someone check on Emery?
Those photos looks like he's in the advanced stages of rigor mortis.
If it's a bit smelly, don't assume that he farted. I mean a normal fart.

Surely that's the chairs previous owner yeah? (jokes) :p
I just don't know how you're going to get the pedals to move with the chair. Great idea though, you can race GT and F1 style cars in the same rig.

Hmmm, the Pacific Northwest does strange things to our minds at this time of the year, eh, Emery ;-)

My GT Omega rig was about AU$650 delivered (from the UK) and my T500 was about $750 delivered (from JB Hi-fi).

My various PC's that I have built over the many years have not been "just" for sim racing, so they don't count for this poll.

Pedals need to move independently of the chair because a lot of cars use the generic 19-20 degree layback, but have differing floor heights. So you have sedan floor height (about 8" below your butt), sportscar floor height (about 3" below your butt), generic formula car or sportsracer (butt on the floor) before you start into the more reclined positions for butt on the floor and then finally start elevating the feet above your butt.
