This is one of my favorite tracks in rF1, having it here now in rF2 is fantastic! Thank you for all the work you have done over the years, your tracks are amazing. Years of fun have been had, and will continue...Thank you sir. All of you.
JustDave, thanks for your kind words, one of my favourite tracks that i felt i needed in RF2. This era is what i liked the best so i tend to work in these years.
I recently tried this Oulton, it´s fantastic. Classic and vintage cars&tracks with the new PBR and lighting is beautiful. Thanks to everyone involved in it.
Cameras for 60s Oulton done, There is footage from that time on youtube, but the cameras are always in the same positions, and some parts of the track were never covered, this situation made me use some of my creativity to complete the track coverage without losing the vintage feeling, I did 3 cam groups. The cam file: https://drive.google.com/file/d/10MVKBjbbKaQkXlIbTQSjSOAxtlTCUluF/view?usp=share_link The reference footage: www.youtube.com/watch?v=x9zKqzPMPbo - 66 goldcup www.youtube.com/watch?v=1pv54QJZ0OE - from 50s to 70s www.youtube.com/watch?v=vjsEUVVD25o - 62 vintage racing The final job:
Wow Excellent work ebeninca it seems a very complete camera coverage …….. with vintage magic thank you for your passion!
I have made a further small update to Oulton60s : v0.60 added Ebeninca Cam file new shaders added some new jsons visgroup changes reworked a few textures small track material/tex changes reflector settings updated https://www.mediafire.com/file/35fi7ipg4t6xzso/60sOulton.rfcmp/file
Oulton was wider then ? I like the jumps, I see jumps, I press like. P.S. how did I miss this thread.. It is so inspiring to see 60s Oulton in the making, as well as other tracks like 60s Sebring in the making for AC. Major surprises.
60's Laguna Seca & Stardust are just a few of Can-Am tracks that have been available in AC for ages, but they have never made the jump to rF2. Other historical tracks from the '60's could be Road America, trees, hay bales, very claustrophobic down around Canada Corner. Or Road Atlanta with the 'dipper. Lots of circuits are missing from rF2. (Edmonton, Brainerd, old Watkins Glen((actually there were two layouts of WG used in Can-Am)) )
Dave Henrie, i converted my Rf1 updated versions of R.Atlanta, Laguna Seca , Watkins Glen to Rf2 some time ago all 60/70s versions. How they stand up to latest game updates i cant remember. Most of the AC versions were conversions of the Rf1 tracks that i and others created and updated.. https://forum.studio-397.com/index.php?threads/released-70sglen-0-8.34386/page-2#post-935608
Laguna Seca in the 60s is great. I tried an AC version with all the grass and it was nice! I wish rF2 had procedural grass
