AI Improvement Progress - Community Feedback Requested If I make the AI, at 100% AI Difficulty, do normal-ish cornering speeds & lap times at Belgium and Monza and Longford by increasing the AI tire grip by 3.5%, then AI lap times are too fast at Monaco where there's many more curves (and tough curves, too). Outside of the classic tracks, Lime Rock & Longford & Portugal seemed okay while Malaysia is like Monaco, with AI too fast, due to the very long decreasing radius turns. Note that one typically has to fiddle with AI Difficulty to find an ideal setting for yourself, but my thoughts are that you shouldn't have to turn it up to 115%-120% to have competitive AI. About 110% is what I consider a reasonable limit. So the question for the community is whether you want to avoid turning AI Difficulty up 10% to get competitive AI at Monza & Belgium & Longford or if you prefer to turn it down 10% when you run Monaco? *** RCD file progress for the AI has been excellent. They get off the line well, in an orderly fashion, and it's harder to bully your way through on the first two laps. On most tracks, they spread out fairly well, yet have drafting partners and dicing battles. Accidents taking out a chunk of the field occur much less often, though it can't be avoided at Belgium because a spinner at 120-130 mph in the first couple laps will collect the next few cars no matter what. At Monza, a spin in Parabolica tends to cause a knot, but doesn't take out the field unless a player blindly barges in. At this point, I'm fine-tuning the aggression and then I'll call it good.
OK I'll go with 60, I was thinking red circle with white numbers. Here's a link to the decals. https://www.dropbox.com/s/hpfb61c27csmrvc/ABR.7z?dl=0 . I also have a helmet in tga format from iracing or dds format from GSC.
I can't seem to paint the areas in the yellow circles - is there a trick, anyone? View attachment 19226
There is a problem that some parts of the parts are overlapping with other parts in the UV-mapping. The picture below shows the coordinates of the parts. Rightclick on it, save it and copy it into your template. You will see the problem then. Don't worry about the red painted edges, it's just to fix the png into the right position, when you copy and paste it.

Ok, I have my #30 nearly painted... Noticed a bit of a bug with the F3 windscreen though, looks like the reflections are messed up.
I'll bet you've applied your skin to the ISI Eve F3 as the Historic F3 Eve Community Pack fixes the windshield (thanks matf1!).
I did apply the skin to the ISI Eve F3... how do you mean the Historic Eve F3 CP fixes the windscreen?
lol lol Have a crash, flip it belly up and it will look fine mate. hahaha lol I do not know how the fix is implemented, ...........obviously p But not by individual car I assume. So just send car in right format to Mat's PM or post link here. Remember tj if you ran your loose skin online with the community pack we would get a "stutter bug" I call it. p This is like the car is arguing with the track marshall....... hahaha Offline if you use your skin and select all community regulars 36 + yourself at Atlanta say you will get conflicting skins like one car for some reason will double up, I guess it is down to the cars being separate from ISI F3-Eve. ie: ( ISI_EVE_Historics_1968 and Historic F3-Eve Community Pack ) But that was my concept idea and Mat expanded on it ( god love him ) p No skin transfers means fast loading, no warping or stuff or waiting for uploads/downloads. Or ending up a year later having 5 skins the same but numbered different or random upgrades to skins. I have 160 F3 loose skins spread over like 400 files and I can't for the life of me work them out. 6 files of 1 skin, 5 of 4 , different formats, different sizes ...... etc etc I do not know, we tested this bug online with skin transfers off and on. Even with skin transfers off I think it still sends basic car info and somehow the loose skin confuses it. ------------------ P.S. But in my mind that is a good thing, I do not want loose skins. Hypothetically if everyone that has or would like a skin helped each other to develop the same packages for all cars. (each car would have a open ended package to regularly add new drivers to each car ) Well ? None of us would need loose skins ever again ? ...and if we did we would make a community pack for it. p Look how much a small group did for the F3-Eve and hopefully soon the F3-Spark in a couple months. How great would it be to make a simple room mod with the 7 OW Historic community packs together and have 700 individual cars to pick from, all people you well know and not a single car number the same. p Like I said I treat Ai like their real drivers these days in the Eve. hehehe Of course tj .......... That is in my sugar coated fantasy land. lol
Hey DD, the ".jpg" you added to the above post is the size of a postage stamp - can't make anything out (just pixels if zoomed), what am I missing?
That my team name is from the first pack rather than the same as the current pack. If you click on the image, it hotlinks to a large version. Presuming matf1 will edit when he hands out next release?
Ya, I tried that before posting. Maybe it's my browser (FireFox - latest version). EDIT: Just tried in IE, worked fine!
Hi DurgeDriven. I decided my black and white livery was boring so I decided to get some sponsorship. No rush but it would be nice to see my skin replaced with this: View attachment alt_rs42_evef3.7z BTW if anyone wants a skin but you can't do your own, you can use one of these: http://isiforums.net/f/showthread.p...hanges-to-Room?p=400494&viewfull=1#post400494 I can edit the numbers to suit you.
