Drop the mas file in DRIVE:\rFactor2\UserData\player\Settings\ISI_EVE_Historics_1968\MS5_20 If you do not have that folder, Run Offline, select All Cars/tracks ( or a mod with ISI Historics NOT the Community Pack ) select F3-Eves, select Car #20 (Red ) , click on TUNING then click on tab "CREATE DIR" Close rF2 and drop the mas file in the newly created folder. Start offline, select Car #20 (Red ), click TUNING, click on the scroll bar for alt skins. The reason I say use it in ISI_EVE_Historics_1968 rather then Historic F3-Eve Community Pack folder for now is that loose skins have an effect on the community pack. Offline you don't get a proper set of regular drivers you can see a duplicate Online it just lags out the room skins do not appear quick as they should. Like even though skin transfers is turned off I think it still sends basic message about the car info somehow and it conflicts. Your car will be added to pack next update. P.S. If you want to add it to the community pack that is your choice. All I ask is if you come online into mine or another's room running the Community Pack first delete or move the Historic F3-Eve Community Pack folder out of settings altogether. Once you in pack the loose skin becomes archive.
love your enthusiasm!!...glad you like it and hope you enjoy it as much as i enjoyed making it...i really learned a lot doing this one - had a huge eureka moment when i figured how to use the alpha channel to mask reflections from certain parts of the car - notice how there are no reflections on the decals and also doing that made the slots in the hood and the side scoops look like they were actually cut out of the body....now i have to redo mine...i'll see you on track - definitely will get a big kick out of that!!
Maybe i can help easing this a little bit. Go into the folder "..\UserData\player\Settings" Create a new Text File and call it however you want BUT with the File-Extension "BAT". Open it with a rightclick and select edit. Thanks. I use BatchRun is handy can do all that. Really with skin transfer disabled it should be possible to have the folder and not cause issues. I suspect even with skin transfers off it still sends basic info on the car file and a loose skin somehow conflicts. or something.......
Maybe "off" just means "off" for the Transfer. But if it causes Problems with "loose" Skins although the Transfer is set to "off", one would need to know how it is coded/programmed.....

Is there any way we can add the tyres to Tuning ( and get rid of black rims ) I love the refinements but I a bit of a stickler for the old tyres. What we need is a Screamer mod, make 2 complete packs one modern one Historic Change the modern type skins to the screamers and do more subtle ones for the Historics. An ramp the power up a little in the screamers like BB's Fast F3's maybe not quite as much 50-50 Sounds like a lot of work, sorry lol They still got to fix our tyres and rims................I cringe every time I see that gawking gap. hehe Maybe we could plan for then, if and when. Projects for F3 peeps: We need to get rid of more grey helmets as well. Anyone interested in designing helmets and driver suits for individuals. P.S. What would look great is scuffed out white lettering ie: Suit privateers car or the scratched skins.
I made a little helmet pack with 13 plain color generic helmets,12 rF2 logo helmets, and 7 historic constructor helmets... suits are a little more involved - maybe i will make some matching ones if i have a chance...sll the helmets are dirtied and scratched up if that matters to you...enjoy guys! DD & Matf1 - DD's been talking about improving the AI and I note we have no RCD files... care for me to take a crack at it? I've been thinking of giving the AI default setups for Belgium, Brianza, Longford, & Monaco. Probably the same ones that DD hands out. And I'd take care of AI shift points that DD is always complaining about.
I would like to request an EVE F3 Skin, Bright yellow car, number 013 with 3 decals one for the nose and on for each side. I have the decals already from skins on cars in other mods. Here is a copy of the nose decal. For the sides it would just be reverses of the beaver head.
David, pick again, 1 to 100 only , #13 is taken ( see list above your post ) I settled on only 100 as I never thought we would fill the slots anyways. Letting people use any number would have created more complication in editing existing skins Oddly all existing skins used here only had numbers under 100.
