[REL] Historic F3-Eve Community Pack

Hi DurgeDriven.
I just spoke with you on your server. It's toca_toca. I have had the name bigbronco on this site since 2013 and don't know how to change it. Anyway thanks for the offer to give me a skin for your server. This sounds awesome. If I could have something like matf1's car, but orange with yellow stripes, the #83 and Toca Racing in black cursive writing on the side. Or something like the orange guest car you have in the rookies cars if the one like matf1 is too much trouble. Thanks for taking the time to do this. This is great.

Heads up !

DON'T ADD skins or virtual cars to the F3-Rookies folder in Setup.

If you do everyone will see you as a Guest Car even if you are in your private car.

You must submit skins and any skin changes to Mat.

One of the main purposes of this concept is to disable skin transfers.

If you look in installed you will see a whole new vehicle " F3 Rookies"

*** AS I POINTED OUT this name will be changed before final packaging and you will delete F3 Rookies.



P.S. After thinking about it I doubt you could even make a rfmod with this pack and Historic Eve to use custom skins anyways, if so that is even better. lol MatF1 may correct me. p

I not sure if he told me he would change number, but I thought #38 is available and just leave the #380 on car. ?

Cool Graig, your car will remain #380 but you be listed as Driver #38.

Sergio remains #00 but will be listed as #100 as a sign of respect to Dick Dastardly. lol

We really did not envisage going above 100 and using 01 02 rather 1 2 3

This could be revised in any other Car Pack.

I have always liked B's original car.

I reckon the same scratched banged up look done in full silver or gunmetal grey ( like Hectari's ) would look magic for a couple private skins.

I had a few warped ideas maybe it could be incorporated later, maybe when the ISI cars are re-packaged...............or never. ;)

2 new car sections along with 1. Guest Cars ( Rookies ) and 2. Private Cars ( Wookies )

A single skin of ISI design , maybe have a competition, win a free skin upgrade.. loool ( heavens, more work ! ) hehehe

Idea comes from another idea for a "Screenshot Mod" ( mod with a single identical skin for every ISI car to do staged online screenshots. )

P.S.

Christmas / New Year break would be cool to arrange the biggest room we can and event to get a few nice staged screenshots of as many drivers as possible.
......... have to include 30 F3 wookies doing donuts, " Wookies ! take your marks! ready ! commence donuts ! " . lool p

I mucking about with *.pdf designs at the moment, any help from others with ideas for template / style would be appreciated.
Also anyone has a clear grasp of the concept, pros and cons and is good with words (not DD) that can put it into layman's terms for the *pdf. Maybe a header / banner pic as well when pack name is final.


Anyone wants to get Credits and acknowledgments get busy ! :)

I will try to create a skin. I have made it, but we will see.
Unfortunately my CSW base is currently broken, but I get it back on Monday.

Probably the biggest "interactive" pack every made in ISI.

We have another skin needed for a old member Too Slow.

I mean honesty 4 years I have badgered them all, I would stick them up against a garage wall, block them in and all. lol


As I thought years ago, with this mod it has brought them out of the woodwork, when I say submit a request now they jump to it.

Great :)

I like the thought 100 or more can have their names cars and numbers forever associated in this way.

10 years from now you will be able to boot up that cobwebbed PC and run Historics F3-Eve pack and remember the online rooms and drivers like it was yesterday.
