here's my hiddenvalley convertion its not very good and still has some logos and stuff to change the load screens and stuff are still rough crowd and trees still need billboarding i still need to add new grass shader and textures and my tyre bundles sometimes fall through the track after being hit and have moved i don't know why if anyone knows why please let me no as it happens on all the tracks i have added moving tyre bundles to if you set everything to default i think it's the same as the real v8 supercars hidden valley 2012 can't remember if i did that on this track i converted it the same week as the race i know i did it with the others i suppose it looks alright it was here now its gone was it here you know it was let me know what you think and if you find any errors/issues there's probably a lot of them and if you see any models that belong to you thx lol p.s. don't forget to give me your 20 buckets lol

The track is in early beta and requires additional work but i appreciated a lot the smoothness of the track surface (i think later you can add some bumps, but despite the original track is dated, i see no problems with the surface polys and that is a great start). I appreciated also the working RealRoad, good luck for further improvements!
This is one of my all time favourite tracks to race on so many thanks! At work so will download later, just wondering what conversion is it from? I had two downloaded for rf1, both quite different.
Nice work so far WheelNut, I have always loved the Hidden Valley circuit. I have been living pretty close to this circuit the last 3 years and it is a great track to drive.. Keep up the good work..
its a bit of a bitsa it was the mmm version but has had changes made over the last couple of years i converted it from the adn trackpack the league i'm in i added new models and changed the fencing added the drain at the hairpin the track textures and overlays the powerlines thx glad you's like it here's a tip i think to anyone converting tracks from rf1 or any other sim i guess there is a lot of unused gmt's and textures in some tracks especially in the Australian tracks done by (bleep) i use 3dsimed and 3dsmax before converting a track i use 3dsimed and load the track .scn file and then export the textures and gmts filtering out any unused stuff then go onto converting in 3dsmax i also do this when i'm finished a track as i add and remove a lot stuff
lol agree.. I have one too.. Don't.... Just kidding.. Seriously though, if you do convert a track from within your own community, it doesn't mean that they are the new 'owners' of that track (I'm not saying that this is the instance here, just saying that if converting other tracks down the line you may need to consider the original developers / converters as they 'could' be doing what you are doing and next min, we have 2, 3 or 4 different versions of the same track..
Ditto Everyone appreciates your work Wheelnut I want that noted. Many people use and modify others peoples track for personal use in private leagues. But that does not give then the right to release it public or without credits and permissions. Try to understand this is a official simulation forum and seriously mate it is not a good look for anyone. Then again if they let payware advertise and give support on here why not allow no permission free rips. ........that is rhetorical sarcasm. lol ------------- I tell you a story WH long time ago a real gentlemen named Jim made and released a track in Grand Prix Legends called Isle of Man Revised. Jim refused conversion, the reason 10 years on to this day he still works Isle of Man Full Road. Jim was involved in cracking the track length for GPL which Lead to Targa and its conversion into all sims you all enjoy for free now. Remember that....... In the meantime some Nascar2003 mates really wanted IOM to race, I not sure on the exact story but either way Jim allowed permission for a rough conversion to be used on the strict understanding it was for one league and not to be shared. Yeah you know the rest, someone from the league or a mate that had been given it on the down low put a public link up. Since that day Jim has never allowed a conversion of IOM Revised and I do not think he will ever allow a conversion of IOM Full ............if he ever releases it at all. So because of one persons ego and greed we may all miss out. I think there is a good lesson in that.
i don't really understand what this has to do with my track most of the models are from bobs track builder this track has been played with for along time by me and looks nothing like the original the person who originally did this track knows how appreciative i am and he's helping me at the minute and will be given credit for in later updates as i said the load screens and stuff related are rough and thrown together you 2 know nothing about nothing i have all the australian tracks done and dusted if i wanted to release work that i didn't have permission for i would have posted the orsm tracks all fvr's tracks and there mod lol thx jimcarrel
