Help with turbo - engine keeps spooling up and up

    Hello guys,

    I'm making an F1 2015 turbo engine, but I'm having problems with it. I tried changing nearly all the settings (turboinertia, dump valve, waste gate, boost pressure), but from gear 5th and up, the turbo keeps spooling up and the engine gets mad. Desperate in some help here. BTW, it happens sooner the higher the engine boost setting.

    Hmm... seems about right for 1.6L... doesn't it?

    Sorry, not sure from just looking at it what's going wrong. Strange that it only happens in higher gears, maybe there's a sweet spot in there somewhere that makes it go haywire, and the lower gears let you get past it more quickly or something... I'm speculating...

    It seems so yes, but in reality it's not. In higher gears, it gets more ram, making this one play up.
    Forget the //blabla; its not correct.

    There is a reason why he has a torque line of 476 and mine was "only" around 330 which was more than enough; this turbo is doing very little.

    I've just tested a value of 1.6 for IntakeVolumePerRevolution, but it didn't solve the spooling up problem. Even worse, at low boost setting, the engine also spools. So it must be another setting.
    Having a max torque of 476 Nm is rather a "design decision". You know, rF2 cannot simulate KERS (MGU-H and MGU-K), so I decided to put that power (better said torque) to the engine figures rather than to the turbo.

    Other suggestions to the spooling problem still very much welcome!

    The problem you have it's at high RPM or at high boost setting? I see the rev limiter just going up to 13000.

    Try these settings
    EngineBoostSpecial=(0, 0.205,"rain", 0)
    EngineBoostSpecial=(1, 0.245,"race1", 1)
    EngineBoostSpecial=(2, 0.285,"race2", 2)
    EngineBoostSpecial=(3, 0.325,"qualifying", 3)

    If that doesn't work, try changing this line
    Wastegate=(-132500,0.0,132500,1.0)
