help with RF2 modding

    i want to start to get 1 of my cars into RF2, i hear something about a new tyre model. apparently something about the tyre has to be split from the rim, and the rim needs to NOT be see-through on the inside.

    then i hear something about a tyre tool.


    so if people are making mods of cars, where the hell do they get the tools from, ive downloaded all the pdf files and plugins and everything that might help me, but if there's secret stuff i need to know then i'm dead in the water, unless of course i make cars WITHOUT wheels.


    funny how i struck the same secrecy barrier with RF1

    so frustrating

    you try reading the pdf's you downloaded...all the tools you need are inside your game folders

    No one is withholding information. It is more likely a case of not knowing for certain and being responsible enough to limit the spread of "bad" information.

    The tools are run with a command line switch for rf2 devmode.

    my tyres on nascar are 1 gmt the tyre and rim not split works perfect.. View attachment 6274

    type +ttool in advanced menu on rf2 launcher in comand line for dev mod then start devmod if you pc can take it then it will load.
