Right now, no. I still expect this will be configurable either in the UI or PLR when the game goes Gold though.

I have additional question, does heat haze effect depends on tarmac/air temperature? (from my observation it doesn't)
If not - is it on todo list?

    best regards

I'd like to know too... I liked the effect in general but I guess it doesn't fit with low temperatures / cloudy sky.

It's always enabled at full strength right now, yes. Right now :) . It shouldn't be too difficult to add additional code to control this. Not sure when though ...

I think the heat haze is one of the main factors that gives rF2 an almost fuzzy low res look at times. It distorts the IQ too much. paticulary with the Meganes

Take it off, from the cars too, it really doesnt add enough to justify it, at least as it is at this stage.

I believe that if HH appear dynamically, from time to time, depending on conditions, it would be nice addition. But constant appearance may resulting negative opinions, because it doesn't match situation.

So, if I would ask for something, it will be HH improvements rather that disabling option.

HH should "On' only when temperature on track surface reach 35-40+ for example

ah so that is what that fuzzy mess is sometimes :)

I quite like it in general (nice idea) but as of now it's far too extreme. I'm sure in the end it'll look great, but for now it would be nice to be able to enable/disable it.

Its trying to simulate exhaust heat not track heat.

Id like to see it get less pronounced the faster you go.
