    Hi...
just scratching my head, because i have a strange effect on my headlight. Depending on the viewing angle, the glow is visible or not. I allready tried another cam file, from another car, where this problems not appears, but no difference. Maybe somebody around, who could put some light (haha) on that issue?

Headlight settings from the gen file:

The wiki suggests to use the High Sun Luminance shader.
Are you using the same light mesh to one that works?

It is possible your edits to the mesh have affected it. Is the mesh a X with 2, 4 or 6 planes or 1. A single plane will only allow it to been seen from certain angles depending on the angle of the mesh.
I haven't tried it yet but I have read somewhere and seen billboards used as headlights but not tested the look.

I used now the mesh from the working car hlight. Ingame its looks like, that the glow is covered from the hlight-glass, but in 3dsimed it`s looking fine

Try moving the mesh forward 0.005 or 0.01
It might be what you think

I moved it, no difference. Just for fun i disabled one of the hlight glasses and the issue is gone. Any ideas?

Try copy the glass gmt move forward 0.005 apply light material adjust UVs if needed. If the mesh is rotated on z axis to the car sides then when you look at it from front on you may not see it as well.

But why it works on the other car? There are no issues. The only different is the headlight glass...Settings included above...The material settings for the other car are exactly the same.

    1 side works 1 side doesn't?
I not sure why.. it just happens sometimes. Every mesh can have its own personality at times.

If you move the mesh 0.1 forward what happens? if you move it 0.5 or even 1 meter 1.0.?
Its a strange one that possibly simed created.

Have you tried putting the original files back in without your adjustment in scale to see what happens?

As you advised above, I was revisiting all files and found a wrong material setting on the headlight glass frame...issue seems to be solved. Thanks for pointing me into the right direction ;)
