Good morning, I wonder if anybody can help or advise me. I just bought the NVidia GTX 780 Ti card and see already a difference in quality. I learned that with the NVidia Inspector you can even improve it further , so I installed it. However, opening the settings in the Inspectors gives me so many option to tune where I must say now, which one to choose and to change to what to get the best solution. It would be great if somebody has an advise on the best settings to use. Thanks in advance Regards Sven
I may be wrong but I think rf2 in game settings are better now than using inspector. I stopped using it a few builds ago now Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk
Yes, as above, I'm using the in-game setting now rather than NVI. With my 780 I was getting good results in NVI using 4xMSAA and 4xSGSSAA but it comes at a cost. The 780 can handle it but it's better to free up resources for when things get heavy on fps, such as on the grid with a large field of cars. I use level 4 v-sync and then in the .plr file make sure texture sharpening=0 and transparency AA=1. The results look pretty good to me.
With 660 they have made clamp std, so you should be able to run without 4xMSAA and 4xSGSSAA which frees up loads allowing you to turn on more and make things look very good. See this thread for more info. http://isiforums.net/f/showthread.p...same-performance-Yes!-And-YOUR-help-is-needed!
Tried different things . I feel that the inspector settings gives me a little better view. But I must admit that I dont see a big different. What means clamp and if I change a setting what should I look for ? Same with MSAA settings etc. The NInspector gives the option up to 16, but from a graphical difference, I dont see a real difference. Just the fps dropping. I feel I am a real newbie in finding the best setting. Can somebody advise the best setting and where to set and what to set ? In game setting currently all to max thanks for your help. Just need some guideance on how to tune thanks in advance Regards Sven
