Thanks for trying to help but I already checked all the obvious things:
    1. Tried with 2 different drivers. Always a clean install,
    2. As said in my first post, problem is related ONLY to rF 2 as in other games and benchmarks (tried 3 benchmarks and 6 games) perfomance is as expected,
    3. No need to reflash BIOS because - pt.2
    4. PCI-E was at full speed
    5. The card was in proper slot :)

As for your tests. I read through your (and other similar) thread and didn't find a specific test you did (like, what car and track and how to perform such test).
As I said, the problem is not about getting a decent performance but to check, why it was just a tad faster than GTX 580 and to check that, we have to be specific on settings and test locations - that's why I made my own tests.
You can feel free to also do those tests and compare scores with the other guys' scores in this thread.

In my case (GTX 670) is the following interesting:

Ingame i set under "View" everything on full/activated, even the highest settings possible, and get 90 frames with megane inbox on VLM Sebring.

Ingame i set under "View" everything on low/deactivated, even the lowest settings possible, and get 103 frames with megane inbox on VLM Sebring.

So there must be somewhere a NVIDIA Handbrake, i mean, with the lowest setting there should be a lot of more frames...
    What do you think?

I can't find your PC spec. in your profile. What CPU do you have? Something like that can happen, when you have rather slow CPU.

Haha! Not bad at all :)

    I did a similar test: 1680x1050, i5 2500k @ 4,5GHz, GTX 580 @ stock. Megane at Sebring. Sitting in the garage; midday:
    - AA Level 6, HDR On, everything on its high/full/on setting in the options: 116fps
    - no AA, HDR off, everything on its low/off setting in the options: ~240fps

Did another one - 'Vette C6.R GT2 on Silverstone. I was checking fps when going down the pit lane, after exiting the garage; midday:
    - AA Level 6, HDR On, everything on its high/full/on setting in the options: ~60fps
    - no AA, HDR off, everything on its low/off setting in the options: ~260fps

It looks like something definatelly holds you down. Are you sure you don't use anything to cap your frames to a given value?
I would delete the PLR file. Also, check drivers settings for something unusual... or even reinstall them and do a clean installation, just in case.

Thanks for your information, going to test this at the early evening. i use NvidiaInspector with some special settings, but also loaded nvidia's stock settings for rfactor2, no change at all. I give a try and delete the PLR file a see what happens. And i agree with you, something or somewhat is holding my frames down. With RF1 there are no problems, if i do changes in the settings, frames go up and down. I can play RF1 depending on my settings with ~80 fps or ~450 fps, and this is a normal behaviour. Don't know what's going wrong at the moment with Rf2, but i hope to find a solution.

FWIW, 1920x1080, i5 3570k @ 3.6GHz, GTX 470@650MHz. 1 Megane at Sebring, Sitting in the garage, midday, mirrors on, fov 50.

    - All in game settings maxed, level 8 AA, x16 AF, HDR on, etc. - 80fps, 800MB vram, 99% gpu, 60% cpu.
    - All in game settings minimum, no AA/bilinear AF /HDR off etc. - 178fps, 243MB vram, 57% gpu, 40% cpu.

    @Quo-Fan

As LesiU said seems to be something going on there for you. I know NvInspector has caught me out at times, settings active even after its closed, might be worth saving your profile then restore back to the Nvidia defaults.

BTW what resolution are you running at?

    Resolution is 1920 x1080

Just went back to Nvidia stock settings in the nvidia system settings (NOT in NvidiaInspector !!!), all ingame settings minimum and now have 170 fps sitting in the car and around 250 fps on the track. Seems that was the reason. Now the ingmae settings are working: minimum = high fps and maximum = lower fps. Thank you all for helping me out!

I was going to offer you a system swap; I get more fps than you had with my 6yr old system.. plus a 'state of the art' GTX285!! ;)

I dabbled once with NvidiaInspector, but if I remember, couldn't work out how to stop it doing things I didn't want it to do, so uninstalled it. It seems to help some people do special things but also causes problems and confusion in other cases, as Tim pointed out.

Rfactor1 run exe 35 fps .. Use +fullproc and get 300 fps on a quad core GTX660 3Gigs Vid memory
RFactor2 run loader 35 fps can't utilize +fulproc and frame rate suffers greatly... can we get a command line to make RFactor2 use all cores now?... Don't understand why It's not using all cores now? or at least give us the option to use all cores Like Rfactor1 Everything turned Off 45 FPS With a 300 dollar Card .. No Way... when is Gold due out.... Hope we get some help soon

I noticed somewhere, that rf2 uses all available cores. and i tried a tool called "easytoolz" , with this tool you can assign your cores to a definite exe file, such as rfactor2.exe. In my case no changing. You can get the tool here, if you want http://www.netzwelt.de/download/13910-easytoolz.html, it's a german page.Maybe it works in your case...

I'm running slightly overclocked titan with everything maxed out, except shadows medium and blur fast. 3 scenes multi on and I'm locked at 50 fps. With shadows to high and blur to highest setting I go below 40 at some parts of the tracks. Hopefully the drivers will improve. They garbage right now. AFIK

Great! I'm very curious what fps you will come with. Thanks in advance.

I've this card. Which kind of test do you need exactly? The card give me a stable sync 60fps with 30 cars, everywhere. No FPS variations, no matter if I'm on a starting grid with 30AIs or lonely driving. Everything maxed out, except shadow blur turned off. 1920x1200. Without sync the performance depends on the track, so a huge variation from 500fps to 80. No inspector.

Sorry, didn't read the entire thread...:)

Ok, I see you need specifics tests@specifics rig settings to make comparisons...so I'll try to do all tests as soon as possible (not this week for sure...:) ).
