[REL] GTPC 1984 edition

I have downloaded the Porsche 956 and the M1 car.

When i race (offline) with the M1 car, the game chooses for the AI the Porsche cars and not the M1's (as it should). Is this a bug?

(Of course i can choose my ai players if i go to opponents settings)

This mod is lovely, I enjoy driving its cars and it's fantastic that this era of cars is represented in rF2, but I think it would be nice if the physics were tweaked a bit - perhaps even as a separate mirror mod - to make the cars more challenging.
Apart from the Porsche 930 which really draws a huge amount of attention to the driver, the other cars - in somewhat varying degrees - feel way too competent under braking and stable under throttle. I am really a poor driver and I have had no trouble lapping around Nords (which is a track that I don't even know well) with the Lancia, the Rondeau, the Lola... Sure, my lap times were not great, but braking or slamming the throttle while having any steering input should be a no-no with cars of this era.
I know that for leagues where people get together to have fun it's not an issue to have cars which are easier to drive, but I think that everyone would appreciate a bit more challenge.

I did a 4-second faster lap than the already crazy 956 lap of Bellof. I believe my time could be pushed a few seconds further still.

This is not a question of lap times which in my case are putrid. It's how easy in the very first time I drove the Lancia I managed to remain on track when, even if not as quick as professionals, I was supposed to be driving at +300km/h in some sections.
On a Lancia LC2 I am pretty sure that the braking at the very end of Dottinger must have been scary and extremely tricky to execute without locking, losing balance and crashing even if your pace meant that you were lapping Nords' 20 or even 30 seconds slower than the Pros of that era.
Note: first drive with that car. No learning curve on braking distances, no learning curve on throttle control.

All the cars have been updated. (v1.84)

Main changes are :
-the replacement of stereo wav files by mono wav files for the new rf2 engine sound system.
-some UI pictures have been replaced to harmonise the mod in the UI
-cockpit of Porsche 956 (better light reflection & texture improved)
-Rondeau M379 before 1983 are now faster with GTP class instead of C2 (1983 till 1985 unchanged).

Pardon my ignorance, but does the sound update make it completely compatible with the new sound system, or is it a transitional fix?
