I'm not excusing anything, but telling a fact.
If you're not here to contribute to the bug report, please move on.
I fear this will be "not contributing to the bug report" but we had a race at RaceDepartment on Friday. We didn't know about the issues with draft and how the cars acted. It didn't end very well. I'll be big headed enough to claim that we have at least average, if not over average level on our drivers, who is used to long races and not go all or nothing. Still, this happened when we tried to follow each other closely.
It looks like the cars just floats away.
I will try to put some video clips together tonight, but I suspect the GTE and LMP2 cars are having this same issue.
Well, we are doing this exact combo this Friday at RaceDepartment (LMP2 & GTE Multiclass). It didn't feel as bad (Eau Rouge was a bit of an issue). Hopefully it won't replicate the GT3 race!
I think the LMP2 doesn't feel as dramatic, but I still believe it's happening. Mostly at Eau Rouge and even Blanchimont.
Dirty air has been tweaked ahead of the 3H invitational at Spa. Seems ok so far but I only experienced it once previously in the GTE through Eau Rouge.
Had a GT3 league race yesterday in Bathurst. Closely following a car up the mountain was a risky challenge in the fast corners after "The Cutting". The rear stepped out so easily, that it was on the edge of driveablity. This dirty air effect feels pretty weird.
The rear end floats away like in the Spa video above.
This is pure comedy gold. This video completly represents S397 work ethic.
So this problem was fixed for the last round mod of GT Pro championship.
If the issue is now fixed on the base mod as well, someone from S397 please confirm this and lock the thread and consider it solved.
Just did an ai race at Spa with ferrari GTE and no longer spinning out when trailing someone through Eau Rouge. This was happening 100% of the time when in a couple car lengths of someone before so fixed for at least GTE's it seems!
But we got no GTE update nor a GT3 update
Did the GTEs even get updated? I didn't know this solution for the dirty air problem had been pushed thru to the public build
Any good news? Because CS event on SPA was terrible...
is this gonna be fixed in this decade or you
I'm bumping this aswel, gt pro/challenge are around the corner, and based on the CS events, the GT3s still have this issue
