Intro:
It's back - again.. challenge yourself!
The challenge series will support multiple splits.
Based on the hotlap qualifier, will be sorted into several splits with 30 drivers.
While the Challenge Series has an overall ranking which determines who goes up to Pro Series or Relegation after the Season (which is 6 Rounds long), the CS will base the results off the last 2 races who goes into what split. First 2 races uses the PreQual. As you can see, the grids in Challenge are more fluent and with this we try to always match you with a great group to race. Promotion/Demotion between Split 1 and Pro Series only happens once a season though, after all rounds have been finished, based on Overall Points.
Required content:
We will be using all our GT3 cars and tracks as posted below.
To qualify you need the GT3 pack and tracks used during the season: Monza, Sebring and Spa + the free content.
Splits:
Splits will be sorted by our competition system (first race is qualifying).
Broadcast:
We will be broadcasting our top split race on our Twitch channel
Livery submission:
TOP 90 in the qualifiers can submit a livery (but not required). Deadline is 08-08-2021 at 12:00 (timezone as per rules)
Name vs nickname:
We require every participants to use their real name in game, in our competition system and on our forum. We need to be able to recognize you. If you have a nickname and need to change it - contact our staff.
Season schedule:
22 July: Qualifying starts
01 August: Qualifying ends
13 August: Monza
27 August: Sebring
10 September: Lime Rock Park
23 September: Loch Drummond
08 October: Spa-Francorchamps
22 October: Indianapolis RC
All of these events will be live streamed
Note: the 23rd of September is a thursday - moved due to conflict
Race day details:
Race length: 15/45 minutes
Pro Race day: every other Monday
In-game race time: 15:00
Schedule:
15:00 - Open servers through Match maker (outside CS) will be closed down at 19:00
19:45 - Registration starts
20:00 - Practice
20:10 - Qualifying
20:25 - Warmup
20:35 - Race 1
20:55 - Warm up for gridding
21:05 - Race 2
Times after registration are estimates please allow +/- 5 mins for sessions to end
Heavy rubber at start of qual, remember this builds for the sessions until restarted.

A few notes:
- Race 2 grid will be based off of qualification with top 10 reversed
- Rolling starts
- Weather scripted on raceday (announced in a forum post)
- Points system: (+ participation points)
Sprint race: 20-18-16-14-12-10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1
Main race: 35-30-28-27-26-25-24-23-22-21-20-19-18-17-16-15-14-13-12-11-10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1
Participation (per round - but assigned per race) points: +20 per split. - 4 warnings before cut track penalty (but game controls this, so you might get a penalty before if you cut hard)
- Penalties will be added to race time on the actual race
- You are allowed to move once to defend position, but NOT when entering braking zone.
After the season - overall standings
Position 1-5 goes into Pro Series
Position 6-10 to go into relegation
Position 11+ sign up for next Season.
How to qualify:
Between 22 july and 1 august - qualify through the competition "GT Challenge" inside our competition system. Top 90 can submit liveries, rest will have a default livery made available.
