VIR track is the one on Steam Workshop from Nibiru or the one from Reiza?
GT Challenge, as well as GT Pro, all the official competitions and SRC, uses only official tracks, so it's the Reiza version. May I ask why you need that now? Next round is at the Nurburgring.

Hey guys. Where are the penalties from GT challenge splits? In 3-4 days we have the race at nurb and we don’t know yet who has a penalty and who doesn’t

Thanks

I would expecting the same, I mean that they used the official version from Reiza... until I tried to open the replay file that I download from the first page and I had a surprise... the car was not GT3s (it was Tatuus USF-17 also slightly flying at 20 cm from the ground).I noted also some items different... but that could something other... so I prefered just ask. In attachment you see me on Ferrari 488 GT3 using the Reiza track, while the other picture is what I have seen in the replay.

We are using a workshop item which is not public, so you wont be able to see the cars unless you have the mod installed.

@Jimmi Allison
This is a joke, Daniel spins me out and costs me the shot at the lead, and with him reporting it resulting in my probation getting triggered. There was nothing I could do, as I held to the right hand side of the road, and he came back across clipping me, and irrelevant of me steering right the car goes left (as shown in the clip). You must have fast forwarded over the entire incident to get that wrong impression

You also named it being in Race 1, when it was in Race 2, Daniel never lead Race 1.

I look at it from different point of views, inside both cars, up top, from the tv cam and also swing man. Where it is clear that you are the one moving not him. Go review again.
I dont really fast forward on any incident nor do i make jokes about incidents/bad driving etc.

Look, and I drove it from the cockpit perspective, and drove as much as the bumps and blind crests allow it in a straight line, I seriously do not know what I could have done to avoid the accident, barring not showing up that day. His unnecessary squeeze, after he had moved all the way to the left, is what set up this racing incident (because I do not see anything stronger in it)

I can only repeat what i already posted. Both of you could have avoided this, but look at it again from different point of views is all i can say.

And besides that it looks from my perspective that he is moving to the right, and from his that he is moving to the left, from cockpit I am driving on the right hand side straight, one of us lost 1s tops, the other 10s+ with a bunch of position, and gets the penalty with race ban.
This penalty allows Daniel also to keep P2, which he would have lost if the accident did not happen or if no penalty was given (as I got him after charging back up the field), while undoing everything for me

This is why I never bother to report anything, because they will find some angle to frame me. The safest moves where nothing can go wrong result in crashes, while the riskiest are the safest. And I will never be able to catch a break from everything going to shits.

And the fact that I could do nothing to avoid this one is not helping this Monday Morning, and I do not think I want to race anymore either, because I would anyway just suffer some disconnect, spin, or get caught out by the crappy brakes like at Portland

Come on man, we feel sorry for you but only thing you can do is try to learn from all of this. Bad luck is bad luck but the rest one should have control over.
Chin up!

Difficult races for me - more contact than I would like - Apologies to @Mario Marquez for punt in the last corner - not sure if it was a late move to defend but i waited for you to recover just in case it was my fault. I also want to thank you for going off track to avoid punting me in the latter stages... I was really struggling to find a braking point at T1 that consistently worked.

I was no where near on pace of some of the guys but not getting cut tracks seemed to help me gain some places

Thanks again to everyone for the fun races
