“We’re very pleased with the results and feel confident it will provide professional racing drivers, as well as amateurs, with a simulation as close to the real thing as possible.” I'm confident too :D

Yes, i thought the same. It kind of confirms that turbos will indeed be properly simulated. Kudos to the ISI team for pulling it off. And also the models in the renders look pretty dam fine and far superior to the others we have seen in the beta so far.

I would have much preferred a partnership with F3 or FBMW, but I'm still really happy to see more content coming to rF2.

Hopefully a license from FIA will open doors for other stuff. I like the deal more than I like the content.

You know if you guys weren't working on adding content to the title we could have had an update sooner (tongue in cheek guys..).....Of course the title Soap Box Derby racing probably wouldn't be a big seller either. Awesome stuff Tim et. al. Really looking forward to racing rF2 for a LONG time!!!

Older rF1 models (ISI made) was also supposed to be turbocharged, so this dousent mean there will be a proper Turbo simulation. lets not get our hopes up be making any assumptions.

Tim, will/can you verify that there will be Turbo simulation?
And if so, will there be support for twin turbo, and maybe supercharger? ;)

That was rF1. rF2 isn't rF1, it isn't pCARS, etc. :) We're working to give modders what they need to make cool vehicles and the features they need to do it. If we happen to need those features ourselves also, due to licensed content, we'll get it done. :)

I understand rF2 stands on its own from rF1 and all other simulations avalible at the market etc....

I also understand that these features all comes down to the licensing that is negotiated for every mod. but you dident mention if This licence had any mentions of proper turbo simulation.

As you dident really answear my question please let me reformulate (even a word?), does/will the Formula 3 car mentioned have a proper turbo simulation?

Now that we have turbo, you could implement six-axle physics so we can get this:

We're planning to have the real features of the cars. I'll be able to give a yes when it's a yes, right now it isn't a no, or a yes, which is why I answered in the way I did... :)

It is an F2, not an F3.
