SOLVED Graphicscard advise

My trustworthy GTX 970 died on me....
Now up and running on a 10 year old Radeon HD 6800  so I can surf for a new card.

Anyone who could give me the "lowest" possible solution... if I want to buy a new card which should be able to run with full graphics settings in rF2 on an ultrawide 2560x1080 (no VR) and enough ram for 50 cars.

One of the biggest problems with my GTX 970 was limited ram.

wooooow,
seriously it's time to upgrade, rF2 new shaders are more GPU/CPU demanding.
you should buy i5 12600K/ rtx 3060, the best lowest price for gaming.

As a lot of games ask for a GTX 1660 Ti.......
I bought a GTX 1070 8Gb way back: it has the same speed as the 1660Ti, look it up. Heaps of memory and not expensive anymore.
With that card I was able to play the exact resolution you have with settings full-out.
Never used 50 cars at once though.......so I don't know about that. Ram wasn't maxed out though.

so a RTX 3060 would be plenty?

Thought of this:
"MSI GeForce RTX 3060 VENTUS 3X 12G OC"

cost about 450 euro in denmark

The TI is about 20-30% faster and cost 60 euro more.
3060 TI has 8gb ram and the 3060 has 12gb.

Go for faster or more ram if looking 4 years into the future?

yeah I m pro gamer, and i5 13600K* and 3060 will be perfect, don't understimate CPU, it's very important for AI and stable framerate without stuttering.
I guess you play at 1080p ?

edit : ok 2560x1080:), 144hz gsync ?

only room for one screen, use it for both normal office use and sim.
CPU ? it's very important.
I have sold my 3080 600€, if you can buy a 2nd hand rtx 3080 500/600 euros, it wil be the best clever move.
Sad with DHL I could send to Danemark....
You have to post CPU, RAM frequency and latency

ok I confirm, if you can, buy a 2nd hand 3080, 500/600 euros, the best clever move, even if you will have a slight more cpu bottlneck, a 5800X3D should be perfect with rtx 3080.
For RAM, DDR4 3600mhz CL16 is the best, you can find 3600MHZ CL14 but it's very expensive for a minimal gain (at 4K, at 1080P it can be more significant), but you can keep 3200mhz, 32gb is the sweet spot, even if 16gb can do the job

I can find u one for 500/600, you have to pay DHL (25€ for 24h delivery maybe)
My 3080 msi trio X was perfect, and 600 was the highest price, now many sell it at 500 here in France.
Let's talk in private if you are interested, if not, no problem

it's closed to my home, and I have +120 offers....

Strictly speaking for rf2, id choose the card with more vram, whether it is a TI model or not.
Other specs wouldn´t matter that much cause the game is mostly cpu limited and also has some unavoidable frame hogs in some weather/lightning conditions.

If you like to use a LOT of AI multiclass with AAA tracks like Nurburg combined, I recommand minimum 11 Gb VRAM like on 2080 Ti.

To have worst condition like rain + sunset + 89 AI for example with your resolution, I think (not a specialist) that 3070 Ti is not enough. A little bit more powerfull is better.

And minimum a intel since 9e generation or more with 5 Ghz OC and quick RAM.
