    Hi guys,

    Sorry for my bad writing :D

    Since I installed rf2 beta I had a very big FPS loss.
    I thought it couldn't be a hardware issue because I can play every game in max settings.

    This are my specs:

    Intel core i7 2600k running at 4,5GHz liquid-cooled
    Gigabyte G1 Sniper2
    RAM 8 GB Kyngston T1
    Gigabyte GTX 570 SO x2
    SSD OCZ Vertex 3 MaxIOPS 120GB
    1TB WD Black Caviar

    The first thing I tried was to deactivate nVidia SLI. It really help because the frame loss was really less frecuent.
    But it wasn't good enough, specially in Mills. It was nearly impossible for my to do 1 lap.
    So I started to look in the install folders and found that my config file was not well configured.

    It looked like this:

    //[[gMa1.002f (c)2012 ]] [[ ]]
    [COMPONENTS]
    LanguagesFile=GAME.DIC
    CPURating=1
    SystemRAM=0
    VideoRAM=4032
    ObjDetail=1
    TexDetail=1
    VideoGUID=D7B71E3E-53C6-11CF-A454-1C151FC2C535
    VideoDriver=0
    VideoMode=31
    VideoRefresh=0
    WindowedMode=0
    RunBenchmarks=1
    FSAA=39
    VSync=0
    UsePostFX=0
    UseHDRProcess=0
    ShaderLevel=0
    SubViews=0
    WidescreenUI=1
    CustomVidRes=(0, 0)
    MinimumVidRes=(800, 600)
    MaximumVidRes=(8000, 6000)

    [INSTALL]
    InstallFrom=
    InstallTo=

    [AUTOLAUNCH]
    Mode=Off
    LaunchTime=600

    [VERSION]
    Version=-1.000000

    I don't know anything about this type of codings but I clearly could see that RAM and VRAM were wrong.

    So I changed them to this:

    //[[gMa1.002f (c)2012 ]] [[ ]]
    [COMPONENTS]
    LanguagesFile=GAME.DIC
    CPURating=1
    SystemRAM=8192
    VideoRAM=1250
    ...

    Now, It's perfect I have no FPS loss, it's incredibly smooth(even in Mills).But only with SLI off.

    I hope it helps someone, and if you think I should change something more, I would be glad to know.

    Bye,

    See you on track

    should the video ram be set to the card ram or the total available graphics memory?
    My card ram in 1024 and total available graphics memory is 2815

    rFactor had detected pretty close to 2815

    I tried some settings. Didn't work miracles for me. Same fps and micro stuttering results for me.

    I made the change to the file and it always comes back to VideoRam = 4038.
    And within the game appears as if the video had 4Gb memory, when in fact it has 1GB.

    Iker, 0 in your SystemRam looks like it was error. I have 4096 and it shows like that. VideoRam in my config shows 2238, i have 512 but dxdiag also shows shows 2238 so its not necessary an error.
