What does and what changes these graphics options? Thank you! Especial Effects? Soft Particles? Movies? Wind and crowd motion?
Special effect are special, like smoke and sparks, fire(?) , maybe even the amount of detail in bodywork that got crashed off. Soft Particles, improves rain gfx, the shimmery stuff when sunlight hits through a cloud of dust. what else? Movies are either the replay or perhaps a movie included in a mod, good question actually since we already shut off replays elsewhere. don't understand wind/crowd either. crowd never moves, only stewards, and they move anyways. wind same thing, trees don't catch it, the banana-man moves anyways.... I just turn that off to avoid raindrops on my shiny helmet.
Soft Particles refers to the softening of the edges of particle effects (e.g. dust and rainspray) where they intersect with things. It doesn't seem to affect the casting of shadows on to dust. Compare these two images. You can see straight edges of the smoke sprites intersecting with the ground and tyres when soft particles is off: Off: View attachment 12359 On: View attachment 12358
movies has to do with the screens that you see on track that play your cockpit view while on track i thought?
You mean like giant screens at track side. With the movies on or off the videos on the track side screens kept playing (ex. china).
