Finally I got permission from Team Vintage (the original creators of 1937 F1 mod) to convert it to rF2

The original mod description and credits is as follows:

Team Vintage is glad to bring you the 1937 Grand Prix.

The 1937 GP mod will have 5 cars, for starters.
-Auto union type C
-Mercedes-Benz W125
-Alfa Romeo 12C 36
-Maserati 6CM
-E.R.A type B​
They are being build as close to the real thing as possible.

Team Vintage components:
Big Ben......3D mesh and Paint jobs
Osella.......Physics
Ozpata.......Researcher, Beta tester, paint jobs
Wolferl......Motor sounds
Wolfattack...Research, Beta tester​

Update 30.11.2016

I will share what I currently have.

Please bear in mind this is a very early conversion stage. (Remember that for Porsche 917k it took more than 2 years since the first test version we released, to the current 0.75 version :) )

Still only 3 out of 5 cars have been converted.

I would kindly ask you to review the cars and share not only your impressions but also every flaw you may find. I already have several in the list of future corrections.

1955 is a little different than the 1937 mod :) Although a full complete 1955 would be amazing! Really looking forward to the 1937 as well!

I had already contacted osella in this forum, but there was no success on getting an answer.

I will try to get in touch with the rest of people in the modding group, it seems that they are active in F1-Classics forum.

I have received the first positive response from Wolfattack.

He issued me to contact the rest of the team, but by now we have his OK.
 
The problem is that I did not get any response from the creators, except Wolfattack, and as far as I know I am not entitled to release it without their explicit permission.

That's a shame. It's sad to see such a great piece of work being wasted on a platform that is losing users with every passing day.
 
Sometimes it would help if people used real names (or had a common email address for questions at a minimum)
Is Big Ben the same Big Ben who did mods for Nascar Heat? This may be an avenue to explore?
 
This is great news! I was just thinking that this mod would be my next project after F1 1975.

I'm also waiting (also trying to contact) permission from original makers to 1975. Hopefully you have luck with permissions. :)
