GP 79 F Build Test Server

This is packaged with 60's Hockenheim- all components are packed with this rfmod (track, sounds, car & talent)

rfmod download link

I set the server up to allow downloading from it directly, but for some reason it is not working with this latest build of rF2.

Thank you, all cars Work, we now get the mod as it was in other games.:)
Do you plan do work again on this great mod ?
AI need serious improvement and some graphic parts too like cockpit view...

Hi every one and thanks...
I hope that this mod will evolve...
I have to sum all actual bug to have it as clean as possible then will start to update Physics and graphics...
new 3d cockpit, updated Physics, Graphic texture update etc will be great to have!!
Now I think I will need any help from community to sorted out.

Thanks to Guy Moulton really appreciate his help...

PS: I 'm speaking English like a Spanish cow

Thanks to them and to you!

These cars are crazy. then when you set them up for less wing, but more downforce... they become insane. lower, harder, set the rake right. I am into the 1:42.4 range with the Ligier (default fuel load). But I am using my h-shifter and the 6-speed sucks with a h-shifter. 5-speeds work better with this, the cars are so fast it's hard to shift.

I changed from the default relatively high wing stock setup to one more like how the GPmanual says to set your car up, I started attacking the corners like Lauda says to
When you came into a corner you had to hit the accelerator as hard as you possibly could, build up speed as quickly as possible and, when things became unstuck, bite the bullet and give it even more.
and I found a few more seconds in a lap. These things are insane. How the hell did these guys race them? I guess we're going to find out in time

So as said before This version is a GRAPHIC debugging ONE !
I've no more time to spend onto listing all little bug this week...

If any of you can provide any Info as for example :

Rebaque:
-Helmet to shiny.
-Backfire anims pbs.
-Missing Alt Skins
-etc

Ligier:
-RVLED problems
-Etc

FERRARI
-Car body Looks too milky.

ALL CARS
-Tyres wall are looking green

It will really save my time if I can only focuse on "doing" and not on "seeking of what to do".

For braking system I think that Guy are right but It need to be improve. Blocking tyres, even when Pushing hard on brake, is not really possible and I don't think that It's realist. At first I will have to dig what to add in BraqueCURVE. I mean what was the real value for Brake efficiency temp for F1 1979 Steel Brake. Only BT49 has a carbon Disk but not really sure. And maybe the most important is that the tyres.TGM use here are not fitting 1979 era.

I hope that it will begin to be "our" project not only "my" project...I can share any material needed to help!

#11 Ensign Cosworth- cockpit gauges are stacked on top of each other

Ferrari T3 models- skin doesn't line up (Gilles' name is upside too)

@John: Try the Thrustmaster TH8RS Shifter. I installed it three weeks ago together with my G25 and it transformed shifting completely. Nice feeling (especially with HistorX and grinding tranny) and very sturdy. No more stupid clicking sounds like the original G25 shifter. It comes very close to the shifters in my real vintage cars...
The only thing missing is a working clutch in rF2.

I like how the pdf manual calls the mod GPL2! Of course, that's about right.

You know someone's going to convert the F1 Classic mod at some point- I wonder how it will compare with WCR 60's?

Sorry Guybo but connection was impossible after crash
I was saying that you are right for refuelling. It's an admin choice and not have to be a car limitation. It was just here as is in the HDV. I will change it for next.
I've seen some clipping on ligier... It's may be because I've checked 2 face render on wcarbody shader, I will test it whitout to see if it'll correct It...

Had to go CU
