GP79 conversion with permission

"hi, its ok for me, i am no longer on the modding scene so if you like,
you can convert it with my permission. That was not just a work of
mine, so maybe add the original readme with your mod, so everyone
involved in the original mod could be regarded.
Bring my hello to Max Angelo, have a happy new year."

Already send a mail to Reiza Studio. Because Mr Simioni seems to be the big boss of this studio...
MAybe will have a contact with Vassalfada who seem to work for simbin...

Yes, in my knowledge the 3d car modeling was made by Shutt1e so, if the GPC team had not agreements about the "ownership" of the materials, you have got a full valid permission.

Not sure who was the 2d artist of the team, so if you use the same car textures, may be a permission by the 2d artist (if him was not Shutt1e) might be required for a full valid conversion.

Clear, credits to all the GPC team are "a must", as asked by Shutt1e.

Now, if i can say, a little conversion team with 3d/2d artists and a "physics maker" might be the an idea to evaluate, because the work is huge, because GPC released the tracks too, and because we all wish the best possible conversion (and mutual help in a modding team produces often better results than "one man band" job).

So second good NEWS got a reply from Renato Simioni...

"Hello Arnaud,

No problems from my side, however though I was "managing" GPC at the time I
was only responsible for creating the physics in the GP79 mod, which I
assume you´d have to mostly redo from scratch in rF2. You do have my
permission to use whatever you want there, but you will need to contact
Paolo (Shutt1e) as the models and textures are his. Sadly I no longer have
his email contact.

You´d also need permission from Anthony (Vassalfada) who created the sounds,
he works for Simbin now.Good luck with the project."

I don't mean to sound crazy but... GP1979 i perhaps my most Fav mod of rF1... can... can you just email me the d/l link ? please ? imawesome@gmail.com ... i will love you forever. I know you will get all permissions i just cannot wait to try this.
