GMS G.E.A.R.S. Project

Hello everyone,
I am a member at SRO (SIM Racing Online) and the G.E.A.R.S beta mod has been released to forum members. The mod is based on ALMS and includes 3 GT cars. We are having hotlap competitions and we do have a server running this mod. If we have enough interest we will open multiple racing servers. Stop by and see what we do, get the mod and see how fast you are.

mr GEARS admin i have a problem!!

i signed up, got my confirmation email, and logged in fine. applied for licence.

a whole bunch of people who applied after me have been approved and now it says that my username is not found and i can't even log in to post on forums.

have i missed something?!

 

Got approved and license etc, looked at downloads and no Mod only tracks i already got elsewhere, maybe its hidden away somewhere.

Never mind found it under the TPG league stuff

The set-up needs a lot of work also I think that the FBB is too strong,it almost has killed my G27 and my wrist and shoulder!

 

Yeah i'm having some FFB issues too. especially on elevation changes i get massive jolts through my wheel. also the effect when you get understeer is quite severe. will try to tweak my controller ini and fiddle with the profiler settings tomorrow and see if it feels better.

Sign in with your email or real name. Once your licensed they then use your real name. Site looks really good btw with some decent looking leagues running. The mod itself is too early for me still, alot of work with the FFB to be done, way too strong for me. There is a real feel of centering spring which i can't get one with. Could not seem to tone it down either. Looking forward to seeing it mature though, sounds are nice in the BMW. Cockpits need some work visually. Reminds me of the NAGT mods cockpits as it is now.

for everyone having issues accessing the mod, you must register for a normal account at SRO, anyone can get this, fill in a username and valid email and password, validate the email sent out then you must apply to be a licensed member in the application thread.

Once a licensed member, you have access to downloads, can compete in professional leagues run by SRO and TPG, use team speak 3 and many other cool features.

If you have any issues, send me a PM here or at SRO.
