Dear simrace friends, I am a bit busy making carskins .. everything works well. saving the files.. painting. But I would like to do more with the new material system. Specialy "creating the region map" In the users guide it is still unclear to me how to use the region?? I paint with gimp. Does anyone have a video turturial? Or can someone tell me how I can put my work in the region maps (gimp)? .... paint...Legos merged?
I use Gimp. Basically I paint in layers, and at minimum deviding layers to inteded "material" effect I want to use for region maps. when done, I copy each layer to a region layer and paint it 100% red, black, blue or green. And the saved that as it own dds file. attached 2 examples of the ally dpi car
