Hi there, i wish a Get Mod with more power. If you go to online race you get the list of servers. You can enter a server (if you have already the mod) or you can download it. Actual there is a speed about 3000 kbps for download. Thats not that much. 1. In the mp.ini there ist a line "HTTP Server Send Rate="-1" (rate in kbps) with which you can restrict the speed. But it didnt work. :-( This have to be work. 2. You should be able to disable the download during events. I think a switch at the running rfactor server window would be very nice. If these both are implemented, the server admins are able to do the right things for a good running server. This is my wish / dream.
A real Get Mod Sofware should handle the content (all content) from the race-server, if the race-server has enough bandwidth power. And there are many race server with such power. crz: It is not wrong to have a software (getmod) going right! Why shouldnt i use the top two gears of my Porsche? I'm on a free highway.
