Have been asked to move this here. Have noticed recently that while using the FVR 2022 mod my car when in top gear (6th) jumps out of gear and goes into neutral while on a straight. Im using a Jinx shifter which was serviced a few months ago, im not even touching the shifter when this happens so im thinking software (maybe something with the new gear protection thats been built into RF2?) Also i have the accelerator go dead mid race, its like your getting a slow down penalty. Also random and rare! The camera (driving camera) is also changing views within the cockpit randomly. All these issues have only started in the last few weeks, as the RF2 updates have been coming out, so could this be a game bug. Have been using this mod for over 12 months with no issues at all. All the hardware is fairly new so i dont think its dirty buttons etc. Being that the issues involve different hardware (Jinx Shifter, Fanatec DD GT and Unviersal Hub and Race Worx Gt 3.1 pedals) and the computer is just on 12 months old (very high specs $6500.00 computer) i think its software RF2. The issues are random and dont always happen every race so hard to pin point. Any suggestions?
I would say none of that is being caused by the game, maybe some random USB device is having an issue and pressing random keys.
***SOLVED**** For some reason maybe due to the updates the game assigned multiple things on my universal hub buttons. There was two to three different things assigned to each button on my wheel. I went into the assign menu and deleted most of the options, and everything now works correctly with no issues!
