Game crash with new UI

Me too....
I Hate new Ui....! Game crash
the game crashes during a training session. When I'm at the pits.
Before I had no problems with RF2 and the old UI ... Now it's very slow and it crashes all the time !!
Disgusted!

Steam library - Right clic in rFactor 2 - Properties - Betas tab - Choose the old UI one
I suppose that will be the second in the list (i'm not at home now)

One of my friend said that would be the A1 showdown workshop, with the cancelling of the sub game works on his Pc
Unfortunately I tried to uninstall the game before that so I can't try yet untill the unistalling

Well finally I decide to jump to the new build, so far the navigation of the menus all in place and quite clear (I am not an expert in criticism). Well I prefer that things happen on the fly ...
After my first walk through the menus I go where I have to go, my favorite servers (aw I select "list view" I like more) I enter the server, well everything new for me, I discover the chat, I log in as administrator, until all good here. I start my round of laps until the gas runs out. I return to the garage and .... I have been thrown out of the game to the windows desktop.

How exactly are they able to solve your issue when you give NO MORE INFORMATION?

When did it crash? What is your system specs? What were you doing when it crashed? Were there error messages? Have you made a trace file?

If they can't reproduce your error, then it won't be fixed. Devs aren't mind readers!!

That faulting module error, according to Mr Google suggests that it is nvidia driver crash causing the problems, are your graphic drivers up to date?

Yes Goanna, last update 12/15/202 Geforce Game Ready Driver v460.89
Excuse me Woodee, It is my first error report, in nine years I never had any problem with rFactor (I can tell you that I have more than 1 million kilometers traveled on it) but surely there will be someone who will beat me too.
How it happened? Well, as I comment in my post, after a 12-lap round in Kyalami with the official GT3 mod (purchased on Steam on 23 DEC 2018 at 1:02) I finish the gas and return to the garage, immediately afterwards the game closes and I magically appear on the windows desktop. Nothing appears at all, that simple.
I had activated tracer = 3 in the previous version but when updating today no log appears after this. That's why I send the registry that windows generates, which appears as sent to Microsoft (they solve it anyway) ;)

New UI is causing my machine to crash too. Big time, complete machine-goes-completely-off-and-restarts crashes.

I started getting these crashes one or twice an hour when trying the new UI beta a month ago and thought my hardware might be on the way out. I switched back to the old UI and the crashes were gone....

Today, within 30 seconds of loading a race the same thing - crash of the machine completely and windows restart. Ran Rfactor again and boom - another crash.

Seems like there is something wrong here.

My specs :
I5 4690k
Z97X-Gaming 3
16Gb Ram
GeForce RTX 2080 Ti

I think this was caused by some content in an older workshop item: https://steamcommunity.com/workshop/filedetails/?id=1690254898
By now we have erased the content from the item. You can also unsubscribe from it.

Ok, go to the new UI for try again. Many thx Marcel.

Me too.
On initial startup after the update, rF2 reached setup wizard - which I completed. Then I hit next and got a CTD. All susequent startups of rF2 crash to desktop within a few seconds.

Not sure if I have trace turned on. Don't believe this is as simple as a conflict with my hardware because so many people are reporting the same issue.

Edit: Just tried again, no change. How do I unsub from this content, the link takes me to a strange workshop page.... what am I meant to do there?

If you are subscribed to it, it should say Unsubscribe (on that same strange page). But it's very possible you have a different issue.
