I haven't read through all 21 pages, but which setting and where is this?g25/g27 are still the best bang for the back, and you only have to change one number in the ini to get rid of the rattling.
I haven't read through all 21 pages, but which setting and where is this?
Another question (perhaps related): the FFB multiplier which default is 1.0, is there a way to change its default value in some file somewhere?
Heheh, no Nikos, we just apparently have the same avatar is all. I was given mine by a good friend who used it for the racing sites that we belonged to and he stopped using it so let me have it.
C:\games\rfactor2\UserData\Controller
steering torque filter
higher value is more damping.
I realise I've advocated other FFB settings in the past but I feel I need to tell you guys how much my FFB has been transformed by the fantastic pedal overlay plug in by Techade - http://isiforums.net/f/showthread.php/7546-rF2-Pedal-Overlay-Plugin?p=98854&viewfull=1#post98854.
It now features a simple bar along side clutch, brake and throttle readouts that gives you your FFB readout. The sensations I was getting through my G27 were good but nothing like the smoothness of other games I've played with this wheel, but I now know half of the FFB I was getting was the FFB 'clipping' and the whole FFB was 'over-saturated'.
I've gone from 107% profiler, 20/24 filter and 2.0/2.5 in game FFB to 107% profiler, 8 filter and between .65 and .75 in game FFB depending on car. I'm enjoying it so much more and its much more informative and smooth. Both my wheel and my wrists now have a decent chance of lasting a few more years!
Try changing your FFB settings using this plug in.
yes, but then you can easily load up another profile.
