    Hi Feralarri ,
    Thanks for the reply,
To answer your question on #2 it's all to do with ambient temperature and just getting the brake temps where they seem to work the best. It's mainly for the best Qually times, just like the Grill Tape is setup higher for less laps in Qually, and to get more down-force equals better lap times. I see that the Optimal temp for the front brakes is rated at 480 - 490, I find they can go much higher in longer races and would like some smaller changes just so (to me anyway) that the temp can be managed slightly better. It would be what the teams have to work with in wet and hot/cold conditions.
As for #4 I've found a a couple of tracks it would be a great benefit to go lower on the rear cambers, ie: Turn 4 @ Barbagallo, it's the only time that the right rear has some work to do and doesn't get the right temp across the Tyre because it needs a lower camber than 1.0 to be more effective, same thing @ Pukekohe the right rear needs a lower camber on 2 turns. I'm sure there's more tracks but those 2 I have raced recently.
It's not a big gripe but I'm sure that the real cars would have these adjustments in them.
I very much look forward to the next release of these great cars.
BTW I think you have nailed the Tyre model, top stuff.

Hi SS do you use the tyre surface temps or the rubber temps for you camber assessment? In rf2 a more accurate tyre temp is the rubber one measured with a plugin and viewed after esc. This is what I have found. The brake temps are for the actual pads that V8SC use but the figures come from ISI physics. I have since found some beter figures witha broader temp range which sounds more feasible given that they take the raeal car to 900/1000C.

Will look at adding some graduation to the brake ducts

    Cheers

    Hi FlashQld,
Thanks for your reply, sorry I didn't see it at first, I did see Feralarri's and replied straight away, then I saw yours. Anyway thanks for passing it on, I'm sure that will make this mod the best V8s out there for a long time to come.

    Hey Feralarri,
I've only ever used RF2s Tyre surface temps as the guide to get cambers right for me. What is the plugin that you use?

Quick heads up FlashQld, the link to the Nissan (v6.0) seems to be broken.

Other cars are fantastic. Great work!

Without having to 'crack' the MAS file, what are the weight penalties for each level of driver aid?

    ABS: set 1=28.2kg, set 2=42.3kg
    Stability: set 1=28.2kg, set 2=42.3kg
    Autoshift none
    Steering : set 1=28.2kg, set 2=35.25kg set 3=42.3kg
    Braking: set 1 70.5kg, set2 141kg
    Invulnerable: None
    Opposite: set 1 70.5kg
    Spin Recovery: set 1 70.5kg
    Autopit: None
    AutoLift: None

Would be nice to have seat adjustment forward more than 100. It's unusable on a single screen. 300-350 suits my screen on most mods. I use bonnet view in these v8's.

OK, will give it a go again. It must have been one of the previous versions I tried.
And thanks for freeing that up a bit.
And it is about more than just screen size. I always felt as if I was driving from the back seat. As in the back seat regarding the cars rotational centre. Yes, graphically, you appear in the centre.

Great thanks to Nibiru for the help with the car-setup. Yummy!

Tried on 6.1 it went forward to 150. Just OK, could be a bit more, but for a part timer like me, it will do.
See the back seat driver in the video above. On my screen, the window slit is 2 inches high.

Any info on the 6.2 update downloaded via steam workshop. As far as i can see there are no compatible servers with this version available, is there a problem with updating dedi servers to this version?

6.2?! I was just about to ask why do I have both a 6.0 and 6.1 in my Steam? Can't uninstall the 6.0, though I doubt it is needed for any reason.

We also have a User Interface for the mod to have a subtle blend colour. The mod has multiple options in it to suit various configurations of how you want to drive, you can change configurations of the cockpit. The diff ratios and tyres are set for the Australian tracks, with subtle annual changes.
