Fun2Race.net starts hosting fun events saturday nights! Mod/track combo is announced wednesday, and the race will be held saturday night. Qualify at 20:00 GMT. Server starts hosting the mod on announcement. You can get the mod on joining the server using getmod. Rules for the race: -Race is constructed of 2 starts which the 2nd one is gridded in opposite order of 1st race results. in future weight penalties might be added to the 2nd start to keep racing as close as possible, but we will see if need for that arises -Race time is 15 minutes for each start. At least for the first event. Might change in the future.. - Flag rules as they are in the game. I hope everybody who are not familiar with them, gets to know them before the race. - Caution in the first lap is to be expected of all racers, so we would not have to restart the race because of multi crash caused by a crazy maneuver in the very beginning. In other words, respect qualification order a little in the beginning. Obviously if someone in front of you clearly goes wide/off the track, you are allowed to overtake him in that situation. -If you get off the track, Check if it's safe (and wait if needed!) before getting back on the track. -2 wide situations: keep on your side of the track until 2 wide is no more, or at least try to -Scoring: 1st = 9 points 2nd =6 points 3rd = 4 points 4th = 2 points 5th = 1 point Points from both starts are added together to get event winner and so on.. Results will be published on this thread, shortly after the race. First event mod will be the Skip Barber, and the track is Sebring Modified Course, and the race is on Saturday 19th of July, Qualify @ 20:00 GMT!! No need to sign up, just be there in time for qualify. Knowing the rules mentioned above is expected of all participants of event. That's all!! Hope to see as many skip pilots as possible!!
