I had this issue since the first release of RF2 : pressing ESC was a russian roulet, but the CTD won too often. For this reason in all those years I've never been able to race a whole weekend without issue. Somewhere I've read that disabling automatic instant replay from player.JSON could cure the problem. "Monitor Auto Replay":false, So in the end I did: Today I was able to join and rejoin a replay, enter cockpit and exit, used different tracks and mod the whole day. The single CTD I experience was pressing "R" while in cockpit : instant replays appear to be a critical feature for some system apparently.
