Hi, tried to search the forum but didnt find any similar posts. Driving the old sixtes F1, all graphic settings maxed out (except x2 Antisotrophic, AA lvl 2, Audio no of effects=16). Scenario 1, Monte Carlo: At the screen that shows when the track is loaded I get 1fps, the same when entering the track. It´s not a true freeze, because I can click the buttons, though it takes time. If lowering the Texture detail from Full to High, all of a sudden I get about 55fps. Scenario 2, Spa: Same thing happens as above, but now I have to lower both the Texture detail and the Opponent detail to High. Then I get about 60fps. (Just lowering one of them still gives me 1fps) To me this doesnt look like a common performance dip. The impact of a single setting is just to large. My system: Vista Home 32bit i7-870 Asus P7P55D-E Pro 4gb ram Nvidia GTX460 Best regards Matt
I guess its this problem: http://isiforums.net/f/showthread.php/4574-Game-crashes-or-runtime-error A change from Windows 7 32bit to Windows 7 64bit fixed this for me.
