Forum VERY slow

Is it only me or is the Forum very slow since Yesterday Evening (Sunday the 14th January)?

 

I had a database error earlier, did we lose anything?

For a second I thought uh oh... is this the end?

 

It’s been playing up for me for the last few days, more often than not since 13th Jan I get a “can't find that server” error message.

 

Yes, i could not load it yesterday and it gave me the " cant find server error" UK. It seems ok today Monday.

 

yesterday 17:00 - 18:00 here (Spain) too. "An unexpected database error occurred. Please try again later"

And i had a similar Guess like @Lazza
Not that it is the End of rF2 (if you did mean that), but the Beginning of the End of the Forum (Ubisoft Style).

Yes and now it works normal...... but how long....

 

Usually problems like these happen when the forum software (XenForo) hasn't been updated in a long time and becomes vulnerable to bot attacks. It shouldn't be a complicated thing to update. @Coutie Anyone?

Could be that. Might not be. Just like engine inertia, tyres, ...

 

Thursday 00:37 (German Time) and it's VERY slow again....

 

It's not getting better.
1st try did load the unfinished Site (Screenshot) below.
Then it doesn't load at all for 20 Minutes and at the End the Message "An unexpected database error occurred. Please try again later." appeared.
