Hello, thank you guys for both mods, they go very well together, feels like mini game in rF2. It has been long time since I have driven something that doesn't require Hshifter and clutch. Not to mention gears shifting. It is very interesting, not to mention also having autocross track which is also unusual for me.
First of all, the track and the car are perfect, could go on a lot especially on the details of car, rotating fan, small details such as imperfections of stickers in cockpit boost up immersion a lot. I like that you guys made autocross cones the way you did.
I don't think I have done any valid lap, but it is very fun, especially after few laps when tires starts giving grip. It gets super fast. Getting under 1min10s with 40kw and a second or two faster with 60kw, it starts feeling like driving group B rally or late 80s high turbo F1 car such as Lotus98 in track this twisty and narrow. Accelerations and decelarations are insane. Every lap just gets more fun, but also really intense, you need to be well rested. I have driven on default conditions which were sunny and warm, and haven't done single valid lap yet.
I wish the car had little smaller turning circle. It is enough, but just barely. The turn in is extremely good, I think I have never understeered, but I also didn't try to make it more understeery with setup. In several places it really feels like I could go faster, and car could turn more in all those twisty narrow places.
With my casual Thrustmaster T300 wheel motor I had no feeling of car with 100% FFB, so I have increased it to 200-250%. There might be slight vibration happening, more noticeably when strongly accelerating. But it doesn't feel like an issue even with 250% ffb with my T300. It is unclear if it is directly tire related, even if it goes away with tbc tire, I feel like tbc tire in rF2 devmode overall simply transmits less forces, not to mention that without tire flex the geometry at all times is also different. That slight vibration could be due to some geometry or dampers setup aspect as well I guess, of course perhaps tire itself also could be slightly stiff and bouncy, even though the vibration is so minimal, if you wouldn't have pointed it out I wouldn't even think about it.
The tire starts to feel very good once it gets hotter, wears a bit and pressures elevate. But I think it probably is slightly too grippy, or perhaps slightly too insensitive for rubber pressure, while at the same time perhaps slightly lacking moments transmitted to wheel and chassis when it is being scrubbed. I would expect it to have little more understeering dynamics, brief moments of understeer and then biting into grip. Comparing to video that svictor posted it feels that it perhaps could be gripping slightly too much through adhesion, and not enough through mechanical keying into road surface roughness. I may not be right and it is hard to put it in words. Eitherway the tire to me feel great, and it is probably super close to how it should be.
I also tested 120kw motor in Azur. It was quite uneasy on very fast turns, even though it feels like it has more than enough grip. In Luogang though it feels nearly perfect once tires starts giving grip.
