I also have had no luck in getting a configuraiton that will allow me to install the rfmod. It looks like a part of the problem is that the rfmod expects a lot extraneous tracks etc.If that is true, would it be possible to create a very reduced rfmod with a single standard track, the car and goodies?
Wouldnt it be great if rF2 was the same as rF1 for installing stuff, it wasnt broken in the first place, so why try to fix it!!!!!!!
no was to easy to cheat on rF1 being able to swap files over. rF2 is miles better just people giving out problem mods makes big problems for all of us because when you bypass with rfcmp it instal twice thats not good at all.
It looked like Michael1 of F1RUK volunteered if the files were sent to him but that has gone silent since 3/1. I was hoping he was able to work on it. I thought it was also a nice example of cooperation. What these forums could be, rather than flame fests ;-) Don't get me wrong, On the whole, IMO this is a rather well behaved group.
Quick question, do I just place the rfcmp's in the packages folder with the rfmod? I don't see them show up in the mod manager at least. Thanks EDIT: Just tried that and I still have no sounds. The rfmod says it's installed correctly in the mod manager.. EDIT AGAIN: saw the 3 rfcmp's in the mod manager and install, but still no sound.
