So I ended up getting the Buttkicker gamer 2 with Simvibe.
Guys, seriously, forget about fake effects added to the wheel....if you can, save some money and get the bloody thing, it's freakin amazing!!! Completely transforms the experience.

A good example is the S397 AMG GT3 in the last turns of Silverstone and Suzuka.
As you upshift from 2nd to 3rd under full acceleration while turning right the huge amount of torque kicking in unsettles the rear and that is translated with a big jolt in the steering wheel.
So the FFB will transfer any variation in the chassis dynamics related to gearchanges and I am fine with that.
I would also be fine with any feedback related to gearchanging regardless, so long as it does not interfere with the actually useful information related to handling.

Did you have to buy Simvibe or did it come with the buttkicker?

Separately. The Buttkicker on its own is pretty good but the $90 extra for Simvibe are really worth it.

    Thanks.
Do you also use the other software "Sim Shaker Wheels (SSW)"
Well SimShaker - Wheels certinly is a better price, about half of Simvibe. Do you use both or just one?

No, I only use Simvibe. Looks like SimShaker is an alternative rather than a complement.

I had not heard about SimShaker before Emery posted about it but heard a lot of good things about Simvibe and I'm happy with it. It's good to see there are different alternatives tho.

Agree!! Im running 4 buttkickers in chassis mode and compare it if not running the buttkickers to not using a forcefeedback wheel...it really adds a immersive experience and used it in conjunction with vr is amazing.
