Agreed, I wish this would be a configurable option, just like the option to display a steering wheel. It's not very user friendly to have to go rummaging through a PLR file to find the right variable as someone suggested Although I have to add, if you have a full on cockpit, and use nose cam to drive, that in itself diminishes the realism you're adding, since you're not seeing it the way the actual driver would be seeing it. But yeah my opinion, why would you want anything other than cockpit view (with the ability to turn graphics on or off!!!) in a sim while driving anyway?
Bit biast coming from a pad and superman view user who likes driving aids, you should be more at home with toca 2. I can see why you had your cry your eyes out post in my thread because we force incar no aids and wheels in our league, lmao twat !
The ideal view if you have a full on cockpit built up would be bonnet view, not bumper view. This way you see a bit of the hood and keeps your view at about the same level as everyone else's who is running cockpit. If you are running open wheeler's you don't even need to worry about the A pillar showing.
Even though I can see the intended humour in using this word it`s not really a very nice word to use... even in jest. Imo.
Thats why it would be nice if you can choose what to display in the configuration screen, so the camera can still be at the position where the drivers eyes would be
Seriously? Where I'm from (at that is a lot of places) that word in such a context is a 100% synonym for control freak and it's use is completely acceptable.
If I ran the world or even a server I would be a cockpit view, driving aid and controller nazi. I can see that its more difficult for someone with only one monitor but then if I could nazi that too I would. Zees discrepancies betveen ze way people play ze sim would never haf happend unter ze fuhrer.
I think that you are playing here with things you don't really understand, very sensitive things and I'm worried to what will come from future.
+1 Guys... I would really prefer to not have pictures of one of the worlds most vile people on a site about my favourite race sim. Totally inappropriate and not wanted imo... And I have a perfectly good sense of humour btw, that`s just not funny.
