[REL] Flat6 Series rF2

Woohoo! The TV Cockpit is back to bonnet cam Thank you Enduracers team.
Looking forward to reacquainting myself with the mod. :)
 
This mod is great. Looks, sounds and drives fantastic.
My only suggestion: the talent file makes the AI imho to aggressive. Maybe 70 aggression is to much. For example: The AI cant handle the chicane at Oschersleben and drives also on other tracks often a bit like Kamikaze. Without talent file and set aggression to 35 in the UI you get a clean race.
 
Wow this car is still going and supported amazing! was one of my favs in rf2. Good job guys. May have to reinstall just to try this out.

We raced them yesterday in JustRace.net race at Watkins. It was really awesome, I think it is fun to drive, and everyone in the race liked it. I have big regrets of being the only fool to go to pits for tire change, I think driving on marbles tricked me into thinking that tires were over, while others remained consistend pace through 30 minutes race.

I have a few of feedback points to make.

  • Subjective point. I am not sure if car got new tires in the latest update, but I never remember the car being this much easy, I had some incredibly harsh overdriving moments in practice and always kept it on without much of issues. However it isn't easy to go fast either, as such overdriving is not making for better pace... well... usually. It reminds me very much of how S397 tires are, close to that. People seem to like them though.
  • As superb the looks of the model is, the most ironic part of it is steering wheel. The most visible thing that can be - the steering wheel, is probably lowest quality part of this mod, it is lowish polygones, and the textures diffuse and normals are obviously low detail too.
 
After some years i've picked this mod again for few laps...

I must say this is one of the best mods ever made for rF2! Easy to drive but hard to drive on the limit! The physics behave like a real car, where you need be careful with inputs to keep the balance or you'll lose control of it!
