No not neccesarily, you can play it without using the clutch.

 

You can simply give a (fast) little bit of trottle after downshifting

 

Manual blip instead of auto blip ..

 

I'm sure if they did, people would quickly find things to complain about in the graphics and other things.

 

Tbh, the Aston Martin is just not up to quality. But this is not the thread to discuss that.

Only just read that. Will try later.
Also note that it has an auto blip upgrade which might come in useful !

 

The autoblib upgrade has been removed since the previous version if I remember well

 

RF2 supports autoblib ?

 

Yes it does and it's enabled by default too. (I think)
Look in the "playerJSON" under driving aids

As long as you are gently with brakes&downshifts, blip is not strictely necessary, unless you're hotlapping or racing of course.

 

It was nice to hear about the update. The first laps confirm the statement of johnsclander to be careful with the brakes and the downshift. You have to get used to it. Maybe there will be in the future a current Falt 6 series as Mod. Would definitely be a great thing.
