@Ari Antero Silverstone and a few other tracks have just been updated tonight, so you might want to reset your server with the latest updated tracks otherwise we will be downloading older versions to race on the server.
Unfortunately Silverstone was updated this evening one hour after I created rfmod. It is bit hard to run SteamCMD dedi when there is no date when contents are updated. I`l shut down the server and redo rfmod
Yes. This is getting a to be an unpleasant side effect of workshop. Most changes seem to be announced at European evenings which give very few time to react to leagues. I would suggest that these imminent changes were announced with some hours of advance in the forum. Thanks in advance.
Copy the format used by MMOs and announce the update several days in advance and then release the updates at 6am for the busiest server timezones...
Just saying...We live on a planet with multiple time zones. Timing may not suit everyone, but equally no release time is perfect. A better approach is to advise in advance when you will release an update, then do it when you said. I get that there are more people active on these forums from EU or US, but that does not equate to the world's population (or possibly even all rF2 users). Hence my comment about give us warning and and then release to a timetable. Sorta echoing Dave's comment, oh yeah and Spaskis when I reread it
