So first time rfactor 2 user, currently using iracing, AC, ACC, project Cars etc. ran the sim, after all the update my direct drive simicube ultimate won’t register any input, I did copy the controller json and it did load but no input also my wave italy pedals which work in every other sim without issue will also not register any input in rfactor. any help, please?
Yes, just like every other sim Clicked on it tried moving all the way to right and all the way to left, nothing Same with pedals, nothing Shifters registered on the Ascher button plate
Was everything connected/switched on when you booted rF2? If I dare start rF2 without my peripherals on/connected, none of them will be recognised and I'll need to restart.
Yes, pedals are always conndcted, I had just used everything on iracing and after I gave up, I went back iracing and everything worked.
Only for clarifying. Have you assigned manually one by one every function of your hardware? Throttle, brake, clutch, wheel right, wheel left, etc In rF2, loading the profile of your wheel, sometimes doesn't work correctly.
Yes, after loading profile I tried assigning inputs just like every other sim but I will try again, as mentioned above that it may work the second time
I usely get problem connecting to rfactor 2 after turning off my wheel or updating firmware. But it usely works after couple restarts for me. I hope u get it to work soon,
Okay, tried it again and everything worked as expected. But when I started the race my wheel spun out of control in one direction and I quickly pressed the E-stop button. But it was too late my usb cable is now damaged. I have other wheels but I wish I had the wireless wheel on for first try. This has to be my least favorite sim, between PCars, iracing, AC, ACC, race room is next. now have to go through the expense and wait of fixing this
You played 10 seconds and this is your least favorite sim? Hmmmm... Sorry for the damage but it seems you got something setup wrongly on your side? I mean what kind of gaming wheel does self-destruction?
He has an OSW. This wheel doesn't have soft locks (i think it's the correct name) and can turn indefinitely at every side.
