I've been struggling with tracks alternative layout icons and layout selection, which give me a headache... When working on dev mode, track layout selection should work as it works on other game modes. Right? My file/folder format of this track is something like this: MainTrackFolder\Layout1 MainTrackFolder\Layout2 MainTrackFolder\Layout3 MainTrackFolder contains TDF-file and LayoutIcon.dds (5,5,5 - RGB 16bit - 1024x1024) Each Layout - folder contains AIW-,CAM-,GDB - files (GDB's VenueIcon path points to root folder icon), LOADING jpg - file, LayoutICON (102x87 tga), LayoutSMICON (8,8,8,8 ARGB 32bit 512x512) and LayoutTHMB (190x128 tga). On track selection menu I can find only one layout, without showing correct NameIcon (default rF2 instead) no matter what I try... What am I missing or do we have a bug..? Cheers!
scn? I just checked it and it works fine for me, I currently have 2 layouts setup. Each layout folder contains aiw, gdb, scn, loading, icon, smicon, thmb, trackmap, clear hdp, overcast hdp, You checked your trace log?
Lol, mianiak... SCN file is there too... I think trackmap and hdp files are no mandatory, right? *oops* No, I didn't remember to check trace log... Do dev mode check each "mod" validity on startup and creates trace log if something is missing..? Even if mod loads up in dev mode? I can load track and drive it around normally, but just can't make alternative layouts work... I will pm you later when I'm back in my dev pc... Cheers!
